living room
Prior to starting this room the lower half of the walls' plaster had been stripped off so damp proofing could be carried out. This was then re-plastered by the contractor. The rest of the plaster was in a very poor state so it first needed to be stripped back to the brickwork. Next the walls were plastered with a base coat to match the existing plaster, followed by the skim coats over the full wall to give a smooth and consistent finish. The fire place was orignally brick but the owner didnt like it so I beaded, hardwalled then skimmed it to match the walls. The ceiling was cracked and in a poor state, so this was plasterboarded and skimmed as well.
