HALLWAY
Downstairs, the ceiling by the front door was heavily bowed by water damage so this had to come down and be replaced. Originally the idea was to just skim the rest of the ceiling but after the electrician installed the spotlights it became necessary to re-plasterboard the whole ceiling due to the number of access holes that had to be cut and then it was skimmed. The large wall to the left was a straight forward skim to get rid of holes, cracks and general day to day damage.
upstairs
The ceiling on the first floor and the piece running up the stairs were artexed. By the light was a hole from a recently removed main smoke alarm that had to be patched repaired. Then it was just a case of preparing and skimming the ceilings.
